The classic system for flood protection is not comparable with Sava waterwall. 60 hours of work are required to build a 100m long wall of sand, while with Sava waterwalls such a wall is built in only 14 hours.
The waterwalls are made from a high-quality rubber-coated PES fabric. Thanks to EPDM rubber compound the waterwalls are highly resistant to ozone and UV rays, and noted for high lifetime. The waterwalls are equipped with non-corroding inlet and outlet connections.
The water-filled waterwalls are environmentally friendly and after use they are simply emptied and cleaned, folded and stored in a proper space. This is never the case with the wet sand that should be deposited to places suitable for waste disposal.
